THE STAR (A Poem Inspired By XVII in The Thoth Tarot, by Patricia Kelly)

THE STAR

newborn naked each evening
She kneels pouring gifts
to earth, to water, offering
more than we embrace,
Her seven sisters singing
in the distance

She never has nor ever will deny us
yet we deny ourselves.
Is this the sadness blushing
faintly violet through the night?

‘til next time, keep opening to life's bounty and enjoying The Tarot,
