THE THREE OF PENTACLES

TODAY'S CARD IS The Three of Pentacles. This version is from the deck I use most (and have for many years) the charming, fantasy themed Tarot of the Cat People:

For comparison, here's The Three of Pentacles in the Rider/ Waite/ Smith deck:

THE THREE OF PENTACLES: This card is one of my "family" of cards in The Tarot (by month and day of my birth). I've always loved this card in the Tarot of the Cat People. Just imagine what a miracle it would be or what magic it would take to teach a cat to do tricks! I've too often felt in my life that it's been like "herding cats" to get anything accomplished -- me being the cats! I've also always really liked the above Rider/ Waite/ Smith version. I read somewhere years ago that the two characters who are giving instructions to the artisan on the left are The Fool and The Hierophant. In my better moments I do feel guided by Spirit and intuition. Actually, I imagine their guidance is always there but my "hearing" may not always be all that good.

DIFFERENT OR LESS COMMON, EVEN QUIRKY MEANINGS FOR THE THREE OF PENTACLES (i.e. the below is not intended to be an exhaustive exploration of this card; a quick google will produce a wider variety of takes should you not be familiar with this card):

You sure have your work cut out for you!

Understanding sometimes only comes after action.

Be informed by the world, not defined by it.

Lack of experience; you need to learn more before proceeding.

Persistence that can create breakthroughs.

"Little miracles" may be possible right now; a sense of magical possibility.

Time to be guided by Spirit and intuition, especially in any creative endeavors.
