SOME NEW FOUND TAROT CARDS

[PLEASE NOTE: All photos posted on this blog for The Found Tarot were taken by Patricia Kelly, a/k/a Roswila]

Leaves die and fall. (Ultimately, they become part of the richness of the earth, which in turn nourishes new growth.) The DEATH card (XIII).

Leaves die and fall, others unfurl, still others are open fully to the sun; all bathed in the Light that informs the cycle of creation. The WHEEL OF FORTUNE (X).

I've not seen a relationship between X and XIII before. Yet given the aspects of each on which I'm focussing in this post, X expresses the full cycle of creation/life and XIII the falling aspect.

Some whimsy in this CHARIOT card (VII). There are lots of ways we have of navigating through this life's cycles (bad pun alert!).

Usually there's a struggle of sorts going on in the FIVE OF WANDS. Here it's more subtle; just recall all that's going on inside each of the palms as they wave in the sunlight and brush against each other -- raising water, photosynthesis, and so on.

Need I even comment on this ACE OF SWORDS? I'd only be belaboring the point (forgive another bad pun).

And I'll end this post with a PAGE OF CUPS that prompts a feeling of gratitude in me. Note that like the fish coming out of the cup that the classic Rider/Waite/Smith Page of Cups holds, there's something new emerging around this cherub's shoulder and leg.

‘til next time, keep enjoying The Tarot,

These are beautiful images. I used to do a very intuitive style type of tarot reading for myself when walking around Melrose Ave. I would use storefont windows and image the scene in them as a card. One of the more significant times, I was wondering about my boyfriend and I happened on a storefront that had a mannequin sitting in a throne holding a staff. Very Queen of Wands, and it turned out he was cheating on me...

Hi "Continuous But Plural"

Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Yes, I too find that the world offers us Tarot readings all the time. I've found the same with poetry, and now with digital photos. Especially the latter, sometimes I can barely look at anything without framing some sort of shot in my mind's eye! :-D Possible photos even make it through the cloud of my depressions.

Love your color circular image. Also enjoyed reading your Polyphane page. I'm now a follower of your Tarot blog, by the way.

Your comment comes at a good time to remind me to make some posts to my Tarot blog. I've got tons of notes piling up and just haven't done them.
(Just "saw" the Four of Cups in the RWS deck ... LOL)

Happy Holidays!
