Yes, this Found Tarot Page of Wands of mine takes a bit of explaining. After I'd morphed the behoositz out of the original photo, I gave it the mundane name "Tiger By The Tail" (3-21-15 019v5). It was that which led me to see the Page of Wands in it. In the Thoth Tarot this Page -- rather, Princess, as all four pages are called -- is flying, hauling a tiger behind her. What has always struck me is that the tiger's tail is curled around her neck. Not exactly a comfortable place for it to be for the Princess, I'd say. The message I get from that aspect of the Thoth Tarot version today: no progress and/or use of power without some inherent danger. BTW, the Princesses in the Thoth Tarot are rather more powerful and active than the Pages in most decks. But correspondences between decks are not always neat or exact. And she's still a Page to me.

N.B. A small thing, but just in case: some of the extra reference links offered at the very end of my oldest (years old) posts no longer work. As there are so many posts here to go through I am choosing not to find and change all of those links that are "dead." If you are interested, you can try Googling for the name of the site or article referenced. I've found that some are still around in new locations or incarnations, some not.
'til next time, keep enjoying The Tarot, in whatever ways it comes to you in your life,
[aka: Patricia Kelly]
